Selling a house is incredibly stressful. I have done it more than once. I pretty much thought all estate agents are charlatans, well mostly they are. However choosing Dean, if you have the chance, would be the best decision you can make. He is always thinking, attentive, straight, and has your back. Has a plan B when things go wrong. Is efficient and can read the mood of buyers and when they are being ridiculous. Conveyancing law in the UK is awful, meaning you have no justification to believe an offer until exchange. With that in mind you need all the help you can get, and Dean is what you need.

Dean was 5 star for us and the sale of our home. He actually sold our home twice, we were unlucky for a buyer to pull out through no reason of Dean but due to personal al circumstances, Fair play to Dean he was right at it the following weekend with an open house and resold our house for more than the first time to a first time buyer as he knew we needed a small chain due to needing to move to the area that was closer to the family. Dean was really patient and helpful as we tried to find the right home for us at the right price and was very understanding of the market. He relayed all the info to our buyers and helped us with the solicitors to ensure we got the exchange done in time. I couldn’t recommend Dean enough he was very down to earth and from minute one i knew he was there to help not just make a quick sale and get the money.

I purchased a property through Dean which completed today and although I'm not one for reviews, I felt compelled to share my experience. The whole process of selling and finding an onward purchase has been nothing short of horrifying. As soon as I met Dean at a viewing it was a completely different feel. I had been to numerous viewings spread over various Estate Agents and it felt very rigid and robotic. This wasn't an issue as it is just how the market is at the moment….or so I thought. Dean brings a very personal feel from the moment you meet him. He knows the properties he is involved with and isn't reciting a script! This means that questions I had, he could answer. It turned out I loved the property I was viewing and was lucky enough to have my offer accepted. Even though I was not his vendor (and lets be honest, I wasnt paying his bill!) Dean always kept me updated throughout. His years of experience show straight away in his knowledge of the process which is really comforting to someone like me who didn't have a clue what was going on. No question was too much trouble and he was happy to explain everything to me (often more than once). I can only say this is due to him genuinely caring about what he does and the service he provides. I am so grateful to have had the pleasure of dealing with Dean and I cannot recommend him enough.

Our original house sale didn't quite go to plan, after which we struggled to sell. We then decided to buy via a part-exchange deal on a new property and we were advised that Dean was to be our new agent From the first conversation we had with Dean, he came across as a very genuine person and throughout the transaction, he was just that, genuine He put it on the market and within a few days, we accepted an offer. The buyers wanted to view with the parents after which Dean gave us an honest appraisal of the visit. The transaction went on and we felt it was near the point of exchange, when the buyers decided to throw a spanner in the works and eventually pull out of the deal. What we had been told by Dean was correct, so his ability to judge the character of a perspective buyer is absolutely spot on He re-marketed the house and it sold again a few days later Throughout everything, Dean kept in great contact via a Whatsapp group and it was never too much to ask his advice or ask to chase. He also kept us informed of when he was going to take some annual leave (although he would still be available - we didn't call him during this time!) Any stresses from the buyers and solicitors, Dean acted as a buffer to allow us to try and experience a calm process In his own words "I always put people before property and profit. Job satisfaction" This one line encompasses Dean and allows you to trust him completely - I wish more estate agents followed his principles, as for the consumer it would make for an easier process Thank you Dean for helping make our dream come true :-)

We recently took on the services of Dean when we needed to sell our house in Kings Norton. Dean provided us with a professional service from start to finish. He was able to set up viewings very quickly and get positive results from those viewings. There were some obstacles we faced during the process, as we are sure most people do, such as delays with Solicitors, buyers pulling out etc. But Dean never let us feel like matters were not in hand. I am very wary of Estate Agents as I’ve had previous bad experiences, however Dean has definitely changed my mind! Even before we viewed the property, Dean was very responsive to questions we had via phone call and messages. However, our personal life became stressful for a variety of reasons during the process of seeing our selling and purchasing through to completion.
