Our original house sale didn’t quite go to plan, after which we struggled to sell. We then decided to buy via a part-exchange deal on a new property and we were advised that Dean was to be our new agent From the first conversation we had with Dean, he came across as a very genuine person and throughout the transaction, he was just that, genuine He put it on the market and within a few days, we accepted an offer. The buyers wanted to view with the parents after which Dean gave us an honest appraisal of the visit. The transaction went on and we felt it was near the point of exchange, when the buyers decided to throw a spanner in the works and eventually pull out of the deal. What we had been told by Dean was correct, so his ability to judge the character of a perspective buyer is absolutely spot on He re-marketed the house and it sold again a few days later Throughout everything, Dean kept in great contact via a Whatsapp group and it was never too much to ask his advice or ask to chase. He also kept us informed of when he was going to take some annual leave (although he would still be available – we didn’t call him during this time!) Any stresses from the buyers and solicitors, Dean acted as a buffer to allow us to try and experience a calm process In his own words “I always put people before property and profit.
